Need help with SpywareQuake and Trojan Popuper. Tyvm!!

Hello and thank you so very much for all the help in advance! I've had a browser hijacked problem (think it is the Trojan Popuper) and also problems with Spyware Quake/Spyware Falcon. I went on vacation only to have my teenage son do a number on my computer! Argh help please!

After all the cleaning that i did with Ewido, Spybot S&D, Norton's, MicroTrend, and hijack this.. computer seems to be running better, not as bogged down, finally have my browsers homepage back to something other then the spyware url that it kept giving me. Just wanted to say "Thank YOU" for looking at my logs and for any help or other information that i could use to get this computer back in running order. Thanks Bunches!!

One other wierd thing has happened since the last cleaning. I keep getting this popup after windows loads, it actually says "Window Installer" 'Norton AntiVirus 2006 does not support the Repair feature. Please uninstall and reinstall.' So now i'm wondering what has happened to Norton's? Grrr with norton's as norton's didn't find not a ONE of the Trojans that was on my computer!! I was running Norton's AntiVirus 2003, just upgraded to 2006 right before i went on vacation..GrRRRrr that this happened, thought the upgrade would help this problem, guess not. What AntiVirus would you all recommend or what spyware software? I'm not totally new to computers but this spyware stuff sure seems be getting out of hand.. I appreciate it that you took the time to look at my logs..

I downloaded BFU, added the url as you said, Popup said"Completed Script Execution" collectora.bfu file is there. Here's the log:

Thank you kindly again Lonny. Really appreciate your help. As for the active X that says unplugged..
1. On E browser, go to "Tools" then "Internet Options"
2. Click on "Settings" then "View Objects"
3. then it will scan and then show your active x files that you have downloaded.
4. Status: Unplugged for ActiveDataInfoClass

you get the codebase and id after you right click the active x your wanting to look at then click on "properties" i do know it was 'installed' before the hijack and now it says uninstalled so i thought that was wierd. I thought it would reinstall it after i uninstalled and reinstalled norton's 2006 but it didn't. Should i just ignore it or is it a problem? I have now my security settings so that no rogue active x's can be installed on it's own anymore, that used to be a problem for my computer in the past, the only reason why i keep up with that folder to make sure nothing has downloaded there on its own with spyware etc. Did everything else look okay? Lonny i'd greatly appreciate it if you could give me a list of anti spyware or antivirus that you do recommend using so i don't get infected again like this time around. Anything you could recommend would be most helpful. I'm soooo glad that this forum is here!!

I dont think its anything to worry about ;)

Instead of gettings to activex objects the way you have been use the features SP2 provides, in Internet explorer go tools > manage addons.
If you cannot activate it that way go back to "view objects" folder right click and choose remove or delete for that paticular item only.

Lonny, Thanks for the tip..that is alot easier then going thru "objects" funny though, when i went to "manage addons" the active x that we were speaking of isn't listed there, maybe because it isn't installed or that it's unplugged? I don't know.
Glad to know that everything else is okay. Computer's running lots better now thanks to you! HUGS!!
Is there anything else i should be running to not get run over with spyware again? Thanks again for all your help, deffinately means much to me!
