Can someone please help me with the following issues:

All my important files lost

1. I Locked my PC, and everything was fine. After 4 hours I came back switched it off, and the next morning when I went back on to it, all my files where gone! the main documents folder is their but not my subfolder which contained all my important files which contain personal information. I've tried various file free recovery tools but none are sucessful, (tried every tool out their). I found one which is named BinaryBiz which located the path of the missing files but couldnt recover it (My lost files are located at (according to BinaryBiz): 1 NTFS(HDD)\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\napsnap.resources\6.0.0.0_en_31bf3856ad 364e\Asmann\Documents\)

Firefox homepage not displaying

2. My firefox homepage which had google powered search always worked fine until now it displays "Redirect Loop....
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.". My homepage url is: http://www.google.com/firefox

Google results redirecting to ads

3. When I search google all the links redirect to advertisements,open pop ups, redirections.

Im running Windows Vista, use Firefox 3, and use Norton Internet Security 2009, (norton detects no vunrebilities accept a few tracking cookies which have now been resolved)

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Pinned (sticky) to the top of this forum, and posted above are the directions, make sure you have read and followed them, please mention any recent symptoms.

The only way you can be assured of that is to reformat to factory conditions. I will do what I can to help, you appear to be hacked by criminals from the Ukraine: http://whois.domaintools.com/85.255.114.110
and there is likely more junk to deal with that can't be seen in the HJT log? If you wish to proceed, we will start like this.

1) Please DO NOT ENABLE Spybot S&D TeaTimer while we work together.

2) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

3) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Read the directions again for MBAM, then scan again with the program and follow those directions and post a new scan result. All malware items located by MBAM should say: Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Since this scan, the homepage works fine and google is back to normal. But my files are still lost, I tried the BinaryBiz Vlab and my files can be retrieved but since its a trial they can only be viewed.

I see these hackers a lot and can't recall files missing associated with them? You have probably seen these, but here is the google:

I apologize, I will look at the uninstall list but I do need a new HJT log run after that last MBAM.

This can be done as time permits, but it is important, and may be why you are infected.
Uninstall list: I look for malware and security issues and will not know all of your programs, but you should.
Hackers are using out of date programs to infect folks more and more,
