Hello,

I've read your sticky. I ran MalwareBytes' and Spybot S&D 1.6.2. This is how the trojan was found. I ran MB's 3 times and the thing would not go away. I turned off Tea Timer. I ran MB's a 4th time and then ran HJT 2.0.2. I then ran ERUNT.

Attached are both HJT and MalwareBytes' logs:

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance) http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Pinned (sticky) to the top of this forum, and posted above are the directions, make sure you have read and followed them.

1) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

2) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

(you may leave this item if you set it that way)
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - (no file)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

3) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

*Cleaning Prefetch may result in a few slow starts until the folder is repopulated:
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Gaining-Speed-Empty-Prefetch-XP.html

4) Clean the System Restore files like this:

Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Reboot

Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

5) Update MBAM and perform a full scan, post the results unless they are clean. Tell me about any malware issues.

Thanks

For the record, it's clean now. If you care to read on for more information, please feel free to do so.

To give a small update I ran MBAM 4 times and Vundo would not be removed. It kept finding places to move to. The logs are below in order of occurrence if you are interested. Upon the fifth time of running MBAM, I still had positive results for Vundo and positive removals. That is when I decided to post here. That was on 05 MAY. On 07 MAY, I decided to update MBAM around 11:52 am. One scan showed no positives, and the last update before this post updated the database to 1826. One scan showed no positives.

The logs below are only here so you can track where Vundo went. Four logs are here and the fifth is in the prior post.

Thank you!!!
