:yahoo: Wow! You guys are amazing at what u do. Thanks for takin a weight off my shoulders. The only problem I have now is that my windows media center is unable to play my videos or music. It was working fine before I removed the malware in my computer, but now it says "video error: files needed to display video are not installed or working correctly". Have any idea as to why this happened and what I can do about it? Thanks a million.

Post the logs mentioned in that thread, ie ewido, hijackthis and smithfraud logs.

Do you have any third party codec's installed ? If they are listed in addremove programs uninstall them, you can get them again when next needed.
