View Full Version : Virtumonde Removal. Need Help
No matter how many times I run spybot or Norton 360, Virtumonde keeps showing up. I disabled tea time and ran Hijack this.
How do I fix this?

You are running two antivirus programs at the same time and this is not a good thing.

Symantec and McAfee (if you use McAfee just for the firewall let me know) it appears they are both running and in the next HJT log we need one antivirus program only.
I am not seeing Virtumonde in the HJT log (can be hidden) could you tell me what symptoms you receive from Virtumonde. It is a prolific popup maker, are you having any symptoms?
Please DO NOT ENABLE Spybot S&D TeaTimer while we work together.
Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
