Problems and more problems

I am running WinMe, don't say update cause microsoft
is dropping support of XP soon, and I am poor besides.

I was running spybot probably 1.5.something, before that was 1.4

when i updated to 1.6.0 then esp 1.6.2 I am having problems
When I run the updater,
I get a whole mess of error boxes one atop another
so I never can read the error, then the PC freezes.

I went back to 1.5.2, same problem, which never happened before

Then I went back to good old 1.4, which never had any problems,
it runs the update part okay, but...
when I run a "check for problems"
I eventually get an error that refers to includes.Hijackers,
I click ok and the scan continues
I eventually get and error that refers to includes.something else,
I click ok and the scan continues

and you get the picture.

I did an unistall each time I changed versions

so, can anyone provide some help?

The reason you are getting the "Trojans.sbi or includes.Hijackers" errors is because you are using a dated version of Spybot-Search&Destroy. Version 1.4 is no longer supported. I would strongly suggest that you upgrade to version 1.6.2.46.

First uninstall Spybot>Reboot>Download a fresh copy from SaferNetworking Servers (link posted below) and install in Safe Mode.
