Virtumonde and HackTools?

I think I have viruses on my personal computer. I have run Spybot and McAffee but they have not flagged anything. My personal email account was hacked this morning. I think they may have gotten my password from something on my computer. I have already changed the password, but I want to fix the problem. Thank you for any help. Here is my log:

Its quite possible for popular malware to contain backdoors etc or download these tools. At a glance log looks ok. a good sign. we will get a download to use as another check for resident malware on your machine:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) to your desktop:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Be sure that everything is checked, and click **Remove Selected.**

**A restart of your computer most likely will be required to remove some items.**

When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt

ok no problem. Those items MBAM removed are just your run of the mill adware, no hacking capabilites with those. All looks ok to me in the log. Keep MBAM, always check for updates before scanning.

Thank you for looking. My main concern is that something is hiding on the system because after my computer downloads and installs a Windows update, it refuses to start correctly after the restart. When starting again, the computer sounds like it is active but the monitor never displays any more than a black screen. I will do a hard reboot and start back in safe mode. Once in safe mode I will run Spybot and it always uncovers a browser entry. I delete this entry and attempt to restart normally. I may have to go through this cycle several times before the computer starts normally. Any ideas?

it happens only when you install a windows update? What would happen now if you tried to do a restart of your computer? Dosnt sound malware related. Spybot only finds the item in safe mode?

I receive a prompt to install Windows updates and shutdown. So I will allow that to happen. When I attempt to restart the machine, I never get to a login screen (I have my computer password protected). The screen just stays black. I eventually turn it off with the power switch. When I turn it back on, I choose safe mode because it will run and I can run programs in there. I run Spybot there and it always finds the same browser entry but removing the entry does not always fix the problem on the first try. I may have to run in safe mode several times before the machine will operate normally.

It does seem to happen primarily after installing the Windows update. I am on my mother-in-laws computer right now because I've restarted my machine probably six times and it still will not operate correctly. I'm tired of working on it at the moment. Spybot will find the entry in normal mode, but I can't get my machine to operate in normal mode at the moment. It will only work in safe mode.

I doubt one entry Spybot is finding is causing all the problems. Not being able to boot normally can have other causes. I would visit the computer manuf. website and poke around there for causes and possible solutions to the problem. When it does boot up normally you might think about pulling off anything like documents, photos etc that you dont want to lose. Its just a precaution really. Most manuf. websites maintain good support/troubleshooting sections you can browse through.
