Hi mago1,

:welcome: to Safer Networking Forums. :)

You can dis-able TeaTimer by following this path:
Open Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident
De-activate "Resident TeaTimer" there.

TeaTimer isn't dangerous, it protects your registry in real time against bad changes from Malware. ;)

How much memory does TeaTimer need onto your computer?
How much RAM do you have?
Which operating system do you use?

Hi Matt,

Medion 3.06 512mb ram
Windows xp home edition service pack 3
Tea Timer takes 78.716kb
Does it always be together with my avast?
Is there a great risk by deleting Tea timer?

many thanks

If you disable TeaTimer, you'll cost yourself a Resident Shield, but if you machine has the resources to run TeaTimer (512MB of RAM is enough to run) then by all means run it.

From your description TeaTimer consumes roughly 80MB of RAM. But is it becoming a problem (such as slowdowns and freezing)?

TeaTimer works fine with avast! (they make a good team).
