My thanks to all who asked the right questions and to all who provided the correct solutions - am brand new to Spybot Forums, but more than a recent Spybot user. The Win32.TDSS.rtk infection in my big PC had me stumped until I ran the ComboFix SafeMode fix. Am virus free overnight, so I think I'm not premature in saying, "Thanks to ALL!"
