I believe this thing is hampering my pc's performance I am trying to run spybot and it is taking roughly 2 hours (all I can stand before stopping scan) to complete a scan. please help.
I read the stickies and rules if I missed something please point it out I want to make your job helping me as painless as possible. Below is a list of what I've done and the HJT log:
downloaded ERUNT and backed up registry
verified TeaTimer disabled(don't think it was enabled)
DL'd HiJackthis and made log.

I think you should view this information since this is a backdoor trojan.
A Backdoor is a software program that gives an attacker unauthorized access to a machine and the means for remotely controlling the machine without the user's knowledge. A Backdoor compromises system integrity by making changes to the system that allow it to by used by the attacker for malicious purposes unknown to the user.
One or more of the identified infections is a backdoor trojan.
This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and Download and Execute files
I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.
Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. I've done as you recomended and physically disconnected the infected desktop from the internet,(that trojan must be pissed right now). I've also read through everything and have gone over the information with the wife and we've (i've) decided to give disinfection a try, all i got from her was :granny voice, "i told you i can't stand all this technology". ok i'm done horsing around.

Win32.sdbot.aad <<< this item is not showing, could you tell me what program is finding that trojan and where does that program say it is located.
Let's start like this:
1) Please DO NOT ENABLE Spybot S&D TeaTimer while we work together.
2) A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix on your own. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use
Download ComboFix from here:

* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop
Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools
See this Link (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic114351.html) for programs that need to be disabled and instruction on how to disable them.
Remember to re-enable them when we're done.
Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.
**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

3) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.

Before we start, as far as I and combofix can see, there is no antivirus program running on this computer? Waste of time to clean it if you are not going to secure it? If you need links to good freeware programs, please let me know.

Thanks for the feedback, let's first get an antivirus program in place. I personally only suggest freeware programs and use AVG free 8.0 myself(updating to 8.5 soon?) but here are three good freeware programs to choose from (install only one)

got the antivirus set up, I guess it looks good, all it found was a couple tracking cookies and potentially dangerous spyware named "website developer.rar". I thought my job was tedious....I'm going to eradicate them with extreme prejudice :mad: if that's ok.
Also is it ok to download spybot now? and anything else?

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner
You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.
Then post it here.

I suggest you delete these two files in red:
C:\Documents and Settings\GG\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst
C:\Downloads\website developer.rar
Remove combofix from the computer like this:
Click START then RUN
Now type or copy Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Clean the System Restore files like this:
Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Reboot
Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Update MBAM and scan to be sure we missed none of the junk, there is no need to post a clean scan result.
(MBAM is yours to keep if you wish, update it and run it once a month or so)
Update the antivirus and scan the system, to be sure it is running right and scanning clean.
If all is well at this point, let me know and I will close the topic.
