when i scanned using ad aware i saw something called look2me , win32 troj. discharger , virtumonde

*more problems .. when im browsing i just get redirected into websites that i havent seen since now i think that was " ad w-a-r-e "

Hi

OK ... you have a VX2 infection (look2me) a vundo trojan (virtumonde) several other trojans & several worms...

You will need to run at least half a dozen other programs to get rid of all these & this will take some time...

The reason your computer is in this condition is because you have NO service packs ... the service packs contain patches to plug all the security holes which have let these virus on to your computer... why do you not have any ?

Click Tools > windows update, in your browser and install all critical updates except service pack2 this must be applied once your computer is clean...

The trouble is without the service packs, your computer could be just as bad again, a week after we get it clean...

We'll star by removing the vundo trojan & the VX2 infection...

Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop.
1. Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
2. Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
3. You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
4. When VundoFix re-opens - Click the "Scan for Vundo" button.
5. Once it's done scanning, click the "Remove Vundo" button.
6. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click "YES".
7. Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
8. When completed, VundoFix will prompt that it will shutdown your computer; click "OK".
9. Turn your computer back on.
10. Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Looks like you have reinstalled XP ?

Are you saying the computer shuts down after the reinstall ?

The only thing I see is that your java is out of date....

You can go here and install the latest version of Java.
