i have no entries in LSP.sbi.
please could someone let me know if this is normal.

LSP.sbi has been removed on Spybot-S&D 1.4 release.

Please update your Spybot-S&D to 1.6.2: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

i have the latest version installed?
i looked yesterday (first chace i got) at my daughers laptop
as i had also installed 1.6.2 on my daughters laptop and it was new,never had any version off s&d on it ever she has LSP.sbi with no entries.

whats going on?

The LSP.sbi is no longer used. If you had uninstalled Spybot prior to installing newer versions, the LSP.sbi file would have been removed. Installing newer Spybot versions over older versions or upgrading Spybot in place sometimes leaves the LSP.sbi file.

Just manually delete the LSP.sbi file.
