More details: Dont really know what to say except that although I am an avid user of SBS&D and I do everything I can to stay away from sites that I'm aware can put Malware on my computer, over time my web surfing has become slower and slower and slower to the point I get very frustrated and turn off my computer eventhough I pay for the fastest access avaiable from my local Cable provider.

On another note: there is one program that I have been trying to delete since I allowed it to be installed called "Webdrive". I belive I allowed it because it was suposto update an Accobate Reader program I needed to do something. But even within my Control Pannel, it wont allow me to delet it so I'm convinced it is Bad stuff!

We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

Post a new HijackThis log when that is done.

Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Yes I would like to remove that program because I think it is some kind of spyware unless you know it to be otherwise. Also, after installing it, upon boot up and prior to being asked for my pasword to log in, a small windo comes up with only one word inside: "Ok" and if I dont either click ok to that or hit the "x", I cannot get past it.

I'm also concerned about "AcroTroy" program from Adobe and a "eData Security" program from HiTrust that wont allow me to remove them from start up. I figure anything with a "HiTrust" is definately Malware!

As for the "???????????????????" stuff, I have no idea.

And I"m sorry about not removing the TT properly the first time, I thought I did.

Sorry again I only read the first sentence and assumed you would ask me to do it again. Anyway, I removed SBSD and one of the others you asked but it would Not allow me to remove Webdrive Again. What it does do when I try to remove it is notify's me that an Unidentified program or user is trying to access my computer and if I trust it hit "ok". Normally I would ofcourse hit "No" but when I get fed up with the results of hitting "No" (which are that it brings me back to the control pannel without doing anything), I hit "Ok" and it takes me to a instilation process. It obivously doesn't want to be deleted.

I guess TT is STILL running? :sad: Should I reboot and see if that helps because after deleting SBSD I didn't reboot.

Ok I dont know why I"m not carefully following instructions so well today but all I can say is that nomally I act much more intelligent!

I just rebooted and did another HJT scan and SBSD TT still apears to be there. I then whent back into my Control Panel under remove programs and SBSD is not there.

The first time I tryed to disable TT without going through the whole process of removing SBSD I didn't go in as an admin. but it still allowed me to uncheck it without confirming the change in any way or providing a "save settings" button or something. The next time when you told me it's still running, I went in again as "Administrator" and the box was already unchecked. Then I removed SBSD as you asked me to.

As for "WebDrive", I dont know what it is and dont use it to my knowledge and considering it wont allow me to remove it, it makes me even more concerned that I should. And after installing it I'm possitive that's when I get this popup window that says "error" with an "Ok" button on it everytime I boot up before being allowed access to my computer.

I just remmebered what WebDrive is all about. It was advertised as some web surfer concealer trial version of somekind but never would allow me to try it as advertised. And since I never used it nor plan on purchasing it, I want it gone.

Make very sure you are signed in as administrator. It is very important you follow these directions carefully, if you can not do this, then don't even start. Find a local technician to do it for you.

1) Make sure you can view all files and folders for Vista:

Disable the service for these two:
Viewpoint Manager Service
WebDrive Service

3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

6) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

7) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

It's not allowing me to get a new scan or at least it looks like it's scanning and then the same results pop up with the same date and time as you noted. And I have opened and closed HJT several times and asked it to scan several times. Same thing each time.

Try uninstalling HJT in Add Remove programs. Restart the computer, then install HJT again.

Make sure you are signed in as administrator.

Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log.
