So I have this nuisance Explorer pop-up for Trend Micro Systems every time I connect via my decrepit 52k land line. Try Spybot S&D says someone. OK, I did.
After the first scan I have two red alerts, one having something to do with Microsoft Explorer. I kill them. The next day when I connect I get a nuisance pop-up that says "Connecting...." and stays blank. The little blinky screens on the tool bar show no activity yet email, Symantec etc run fine.
Any attempt to open another Explorer window has the same results.
I restore the Microsoft Explorer thingy previously deleted using Spybot restore. No go. I try to restore the computer to before I loaded Spybot last night. No go. I remove Spybot after going through the "Don't do it. Are you sure you want to do it?" It's gone and after the restart I gt my Trend Micro
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
