I am in the process of familiarizing myself with SpyBot Search & Destroy which I have recently downloaded. I would like to schedule the program to execute without me necessarily at the keyboard. To this end I have successfully scheduled SpyBot to execute from an entry in the Task Scheduler gui feature running under my Windows Vista Home Basic operating system. My problem is that “Windows Task Scheduler” does not seem to allow the task to communicate with the program it launches. So my question is: Is there a way (within Task Scheduler or any other program product) to select either the “Updates”, “Immunization”, or just the “Check for Problems” button without human intervention after the program starts? If so, can these type of “button” or “Program Function Key” entries be strung out to execute in sequential order? Thanks for any help and please forgive any breaches of etiquette I may have committed. I’m brand new to forums.
