Installed a antivirus program and all heck broke loose

I recently downloaded my new version of Security Shield Deluxe 2009 and it at once went all wrong.

When I tried to open and run it, all I got was a blank white window. I was able to update the program but the window stayed blank except for a warning that said Bit defender was not working.. then bit defender has been disabled for an update.. then nothing.

Nothing ever happened after that. The window stayed blank. But I did get a nice little present in Yahoo Instant messenger.
It stopped working. I could type in the yahoo window but when I hit send I can't see the text in the display area. I also can't see messages sent to me.

Since then I have deleted Shield Deluxe and Yahoo and reinstalled Yahoo but it still won't display text.

I also followed all the techs instructions to reinstall Shield Deluxe.. and it won't work.

I hope you can help me with that, thanks a lot... :heart:
