Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance) http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Registry-Tweak/Erunt-g.shtml
This is the link to the ERUNT download.

I am not seeing malware, please tell me why you posted, describe any symptoms and post any error messages Word for word.

If you proceed, review the "Before you Post" directions again, HJT is not located as instructed, follow these directions to fix that:
Download Trend Micro Hijack This™ to your Desktop
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log. <<< close HJT until a new HJT log is requested.

Thanks

Am I the only one.....I followed link to ERUNT and let wizard install RegCure. There is no box to choose that says System Registry RegCure opens a box with :Scan, setting, backup, manage startup results. No System registry. I can't go on until I solve this problem. I am sorry to be such a pain.

I am not really sure what you are doing, Erunt and RegCure are two different programs:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ERUNT&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Regcure&btnG=Search

Why don't we skip that process for now and you tell me what exactly your malware issues is? I am seeing no malware in the HJT log.

Thanks

OK, First I noticed my computer going very slowly and almost at a stop in some areas. I ran the AVG and it found nothing wrong. Then I did the Spybot search and watched it go through it's process. I took over two hours to get through the Virtumondes and then it hung up on Zlob and after two hours it slowly finished. SpyBot didn't find anything wrong.

Thanks for the feedback, understand the items you see on the bottom of Spybot S&D during the scan is the data base of stuff it is looking for, not stuff it is finding. While this can be hidden malware, it can also be caused if the hard drive in failing or badly in need of maintenance. Since two scans which I use myself are finding nothing, I would like to start with a diagnostic scan (free) that might provide information to work with. I would also like a look at what is installed on the computer. Please proceed like this.

1) Register free and run the test, post a link to the results so I can view them.
http://www.pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/default.asp
(there is no reason to purchase anything, the diagnostic report is free)

2) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
Image: http://img.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/hijackthis/uninstall-man.jpg

Recap: post the link to the disgnostic test results, the uninstall list and a new HJT log.

Thanks...Phil

I am not sure what the problem is here, if you follow the directions, once the diagnostic is complete, you can post the link to the results for me. This is an example of a similiar link (not yours)

Uninstall list: I look for malware and security issues and will not know all of your programs, but you should.
Hackers are using out of date programs to infect folks more and more,
Here is a small free tool that lets you know when something needs an update if you are interested:
http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ While PSI runs in the System Tray for realtime notifications, I personally prefer to turn it off in MSConfig and run it from All Programs when I want to do a check.

Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX
Adobe recommends all users of Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 and earlier versions upgrade to the newest version 10.0.22.87
http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb09-01.html

Adobe Reader 8.1.4 <<< out of date and unsafe, see this:

(if you want a smaller program, look at this one)
Foxit Reader 2.3 for Windows (make sure to uncheck any toolbars)

Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.1_02 <<< VERY OLD and unsafe, see this:

Be aware of this information so you can opt out of anything you do not want.

I really don't know why you posted this uninstall list again? I posted information about this list in my last post?

Removed PCPitStop information not needed.

I am not sure what you posting? I need a link to the diagnostic report and I posted a very good example so you will know what I am looking for. If you can not post what I request, post nothing. I believe you need to ask someone with more computer experience to lend a hand.

Thanks

you are right, I am over my head with this.
I went back into Pitstop and tried again to send the test overview. I tried every way I thought of.
I will study the Uninstall list
Perhaps some day I can try again.
I thank you for you time, I know I was a trial.

If you wish to try again with additional information:

PCPitStop diagnostic

1) http://www.pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/default.asp
2) Register or login (Existing Members)
3) Test this system
4) Install
5) Ready? Let's go!
6) this does not take long, leave the computer
completely alone while the scan is running!!
&) When finished, you will see "Recommended Fixes"
In the browser address line is the link I wish to see, copy and paste it to this topic.

If you have trouble running the test, you can ask for help here:
http://forums.pcpitstop.com/index.php?showforum=2

Would you watch for a private message so it does not go to junkmail.

Thanks...Phil

1) If you click on that link:
http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=22107326
you can work through that list of Recommended Fixes as time permits. It would be good if you have someone with good computer knowledge locally to help you, I will do all I can but remote limitations exist.
You are going to see increasing memory is suggested. (I have 1.25GB's, ten times as much as you)

While the computer may run on 256 MB's of memory, it wil not run well, see this:

(This is just information to help you understand the need for additioal memory)
http://www.crucial.com/support/howmuch.aspx
Adding RAM to increase computer speed - Video Tip
http://www.helpmerick.com/adding_ram_increase_computer_speed_video_tip.htm

2) I posted items on the uninstall list that need attention, have you been able to correct any of those problems.

3) While you can continue with 1 & 2 as time permits (within reason) I would like to continue with some cleaning and a check for malware like this.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

*Cleaning Prefetch may result in a few slow starts until the folder is repopulated:
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Gaining-Speed-Empty-Prefetch-XP.html

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

Tutorial if needed:

Thanks...Phil
