View Full Version : pc lock up when scanning ..

when i run a scan with superantispy or malwarebytes and removel tool .. i get to this one file and it locks up the whole computer .. c:\system volume information_restore{39c371a2-5c6a-433b-8ac6-dbd815f09639\rp10\a0024412.dll is there a file i need to look up for this .. or something i need to turn on .. thank you for you'r help on this .. ssuperdave ..

That's a System Restore file, you can try this:
Clean the System Restore files like this:

Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Reboot

Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
