Hiya
i have had problems with Malware and seem to have got rid of most of it, but there seems to be one bit I can't get rid of, Command Service registry items!
I have been running, Spybot, HJT, Adaware, and have Sophos anti virus installed. There is also a dodgy line in my HJT log that even when deleted on reboot through HJT, reinvents itself.
O20 - Winlogon Notify: IPConfTSP - C:\WINDOWS\system32\s4pu0e79eh.dll

Any response will be delayed as I am at work , and the PC is at home. So might take a while to get through this, thank you in advance for your patience!

Hello Jonah and welcome to the forum. You have posted an incomplete HJT log, please do this.

1) Open HJT and "Do a system scan and save a logfile". Wait until the logfile is presented, then click "Format" and make sure WORD WRAP is not checked. Now choose Edit and then Select All. When you post the next log, copy and paste this information and I will have a complete log, thanks.

Thanks to Atribune and any others who helped with this fix

2) You have a Look2me infection, follow these instructions to remove it:
Please download Look2Me-Destroyer.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=7) to your desktop.
Close all windows before continuing.
Double-click Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run this program as a task.
You will receive a message saying Look2Me-Destroyer will close and re-open in approximately 10 seconds. Click OK
When Look2Me-Destroyer re-opens, click the Scan for L2M button, your desktop icons will disappear, this is normal.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove L2M button.
You will receive a Done Scanning message, click OK.
When completed, you will receive this message: Done removing infected files! Look2Me-Destroyer will now shutdown your computer, click OK.
Your computer will then shutdown.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of C:\Look2Me-Destroyer.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

If Look2Me-Destroyer does not reopen automatically, reboot and try again.

If you receive a message from your firewall about this program accessing the internet please allow it.

If you receive a runtime error '339' please download MSWINSCK.OCX from the link below and place it in your C:\Windows\System32 Directory.
http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/images/lib/MSWINSCK.OCX

More info:

If for some reason Look2Me-Destroyer doesn't reopen check that task scheduler is running.
If it isnt you can use sc.exe to start it

start>run sc start schedule press enter.

3) You have ewido onboard, open the program and choose update, allow time for it to finish. Now click scanner then complete system scan. Allow ewido to remove anything it locates unless you know it is not bad. Save that scan report, I must see it.

Restart the computer and post the ewido scan results, C:\Look2Me-Destroyer.txt and a new HiJackThis log. Please include your comments and tell me how the computer is running now.

Thanks...pskelley

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
After reading the response to the various command service problems on the boards, i downloaded Look2me destroyer and ran it, it cleaned a whole lot of stuff out, i also then ran Ewido . I also ran PFind. I think I have got rid of everything. When i got to the end I re ran Lavasoft and HJT and they did not seem to be turning anything up. I will post the logs up tomorrow as I am not at home now.
Would appreciate it if you could confirm whether I have succeeded or not! ore anthing else you want me to run.
Many Thanks
Jonah

Hi Here are my PC latest logs. Seems to be be ok but want an experts opinion!

WINPFIND.TXT
WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

Scanning for infected files.....
Scan started at 04/06/2006 21:32:01

I have ran LAVASOFT and SPYBOT and they are presently turning up no objects at all.
Shall I upload the logs for these as well?
Cheers

Hi Jonah, Your HJT log looks clean of malware and if you are experiencing no issues, you are good to go.

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
http://boards.cexx.org/viewtopic.php?t=957
http://russelltexas.com/malware/allclear.htm
http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtopic.php?t=14

http://cybercoyote.org/security/not-admin.shtml

ewido is a great program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
