About registry : Urgent help needed !!!

I do not visit casino, news or badpages. But in my registry there's a key ;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>DEFAULT>Softwares>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Internet Settings> Zone Map

And this key has a lot off bad webpage addresses in the names as said before. It can't be deleted eitherand when I press Delete, the subkeys of it disappears !.

The only internet access that I used except browsers is LimeWire. I have uninstalled it but lately I found out that it had some files in my Temporary folder including Javascripts !

So, I think that it is some kind of a spy or somethings. As I don't have my parental control ON ( As I'm the Admin.), the webpages can't be the 'sites to be blocked' list .

Neither Spybot or McAfee (A beta version ) that I'm using picked up anything.
I also have updates of Beta-Spybot.

Please , Can you help me ???

Hi tharaka.rajaguru,

:welcome: to Safer Networking Forums.

You should not try to delete these webpage addresses. It's a part of Spybot's Immunization or the bad download blocker. ;)

If you try to open such a site, like www dot 007guard dot com, you won't reach this site because Spybot protects you against bad downloads and/or Malware from this site. ;)

So everything is fine. :bigthumb:

Happy Safe Surfing!

But I got them Deleted

Thankyou very much Mr.Matt,:thanks:

But I got the files deleted by RegAlyzer, Is there any way for me to get them repaired instead of uninstalling and then reinstalling Spybot. Beacause I have a limited ADSL connection (1GB). So it would be most helpful if I can get only that repaired !

If you don't have a copy of your registry... well, I'm not sure... probably you have to uninstall + reinstall Spybot again, I think it would be the best solution... I've never heard of someone deleting these registry entries... I hope that 16 MB (for downloading Spybot) is not too much for you. ;)

Thankyou very much Mr.Matt,:thanks:
You're Welcome. I'm glad I could help a bit. :bigthumb:

Hi,

this is not necessary. Just immunize your system with Spybot again. After that the restricted zones will be added again.
