You must have read and followed the "Before you Post" instructions, anything else will waste your time and mine.

I am not seeing malware in the HJT log (does not mean it cannot be there) but I do see this.

1) HJT located unsafely and not where the directions said to install it?
Download Trend Micro Hijack This™ to your Desktop
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log. <<< close HJT until you need a new log.

2) I see no antivirus program on the computer and if you are not infected, it is just a matter of time if you are not going to secure the computer.
If you need links to good freeware programs, let me know.

3) I will need more information, you have told me nothing. What is this possible infection, what program finds it? What are the symptoms. Post any other information you think will help.

4) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

hi sorry about that, i d/l the file from the link you all had in the read before posting file, and strangely enough i followed the directions but i guess not. seems the original d/l hijack this was only 327bytes where as the link i followed in your post was 700 and something bytes.

Anyhow the browser is being redirected and i have a single program that will not open called YNAB There support guy had us try checking for a malware problem and sent us this to try "Malewarebytes Anti-bytes problem still not fixed. He sent us here after we tried everything else possible to find what was causing the problem. If the log file is clean its a relief but trying to make sure. I will be putting on a virus scanner soon as i get this fixed. I ran a new log file and seems different then the one i 1st posted. see below new log and uninstall log. Thank you!

seems the original d/l hijack this was only 327bytes where as the link i followed in your post was 700 and something bytes.
The link I provide is to a self-installer that puts HJT where it should be. It's larger because it does it all for you.

I will be putting on a virus scanner soon as i get this fixed. I want to see a valid antivirus program and the results of the scan by it before I do more. I am still seeing no malware in the HJT log.
As I said, if you need links to good freeware programs that are available, let me know. I run AVG free on all of my own computers.

My advice would be, once you are sure malware is not the issue, contact their website for help.

Before we use other malware programs, please install a antivirus program and scan the system. Post the results of the scan unless it is clean.

I just ran spybot S&D and whatever it found has fixed the problem seems i'm having no problem going to any sites also the program i mentioned is working as intended. YNAB = You need a budget simple' its a very simple budgeting program that anyone wishing to see how they spend etc, etc.

I'm going to put a virus program on and will run it and post results if there are any files the spybot removed you want me to send or anything let me .know please and thank you for your help and patience.
