Hello and welcome to the forum. If you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, this looks like the Smitfraud trojan, and this tool will give us information we need to proceed, thanks.
Thanks to S!Ri for all of his hard work on this fix, and any others who helped.
Please download SmitfraudFix (http://www.geekstogo.com/modules.php?modid=5&action=download&id=80) (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other option until you are directed to do so!
Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Thanks for returning your information Russ, follow these instrutions carefully.
Please print out or copy these instructions/tutorial to Notepad as the internet will not be (while in Safe Mode) available to you at certain points of the removal process. Make sure to work through all the Steps in the exact order in which they are listed below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before moving on with the fixes.
A. Please download the trial version of Ewido anti-malware from here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install Ewido anti-malware.
When installing, under Additional Options uncheck Install background guard and Install scan via context menu.
When you run Ewido for the first time, you could get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click Ok.
The program will prompt you to update. Click the Ok button.
The program will now go to the main screen.
You will need to update Ewido to the latest definition files.
On the left-hand side of the main screen click the Update Button.
Click on Start.
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once finished updating, close Ewido.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.
Ewido manual updates (http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/). Make sure to close Ewido before installing the update.
B. Reboot your computer in Safe Mode.
If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power.
Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
Ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
Login on your usual account.
______________________________
C. Open the SmitfraudFix Folder, then double-click smitfraudfix.cmd file to start the tool.
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press Enter.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?" answer Yes by typing Y and hit Enter.
The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll. Answer Yes to the question "Replace infected file ?" by typing Y and hit Enter.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process, if you computer does not restart automatically please do it yourself manually. Reboot in Safe Mode.
The tool will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

D. Clean out your Temporary Internet files. Proceed like this:
Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.
On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
In the Delete Files dialog box, tick the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.
On the General tab, click Delete Cookies under Temporary Internet Files, and then click OK.
Click on the Programs tab then click the Reset Web Settings button. Click Apply then OK.
Click OK.
Next Click Start, click Control Panel and then double-click Display. Click on the Desktop tab, then click the Customize Desktop button. Click on the Web tab. Under Web Pages you should see a checked entry called Security info or something similar. If it is there, select that entry and click the Delete button. Click Ok then Apply and Ok.
Empty the Recycle Bin by right-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on your Desktop, and then clicking Empty Recycle Bin.
______________________________
E. Close ALL open Windows / Programs / Folders. Please start Ewido, and run a full scan.
Click on Scanner
Click on Settings
Under How to scan all boxes should be checked
Under Unwanted Software all boxes should be checked
Under What to scan select Scan every file
Click on Ok
Click on Complete System Scan to start the scan process.
Let the program scan the machine.
If Ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. When it asks if you want to clean the first file, put a checkmark in the lower left corner of the box that says Perform action on all infections and put a checkmark in the box next to Create encrypted backup, then choose clean and click Ok.
Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save Report.
Click Save Report button
Save the report to your Desktop
Close Ewido and Reboot in Normal Mode.
______________________________
F. Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd

Hi Russ, good job following the complex directions, just a little more cleanup, and I need feedback from you on how the computer is now running, thanks.
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:
O2 - BHO: Nothing - {6ab7158b-4bff-4160-ad7d-4d622df548cf} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp100.tmp (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {77701e16-9bfe-4b63-a5b4-7bd156758a37} - (no file)
(this toolbar is either not working right or at all with the file missing. If you use it, download it again once we are finished)
O3 - Toolbar: Wanadoo - {8B68564D-53FD-4293-B80C-993A9F3988EE} - C:\PROGRA~1\Wanadoo\WSBar\WSBar.dll (file missing)
(optional, you may remove it if you do not want the restriction)
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://zone.msn.com/bingame/zuma/def...ploader_v6.cab
(above: http://castlecops.com/atxlist-747.html )
Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
Enable hidden files&folders..reverse the process when finished.
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html
RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
C:\Windows\Prefetch\ >>> delete the contents (NOT THE FOLDER)
Prefetch info: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Gaining-Speed-Empty-Prefetch-XP.html
If you don't have a good cleaner, use this free one with these instructions:
Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.
Give me some feedback, and post a last HJT log. If all is well, I will have valuable, important closing information and you will be on your way.
Thanks..Phil
hi Phil thankyou I am very grateful for your help I have never had this problem before, I am usually able to remove spyware issues with sybot or ad-aware. I have followed all the steps you have given me and it seems my computer is running ok again. I no longer have messages or warning signs popping up saying my computer is infected and my browser is no longer directed to a site I don't want to be on. So good result thanks again.
Russ
oh yeah here is my hijack this log after using the cleaner

OK Russ, sounds good, here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

ewido is a great program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
