Good evening.

I am a new user to the fora, and I seem to need help with an infection I have already tried to delete using an antivirus (avast) and Spybot-Search and Destroy updated to today.

After eliminating around 30 malware or more that it detected, started saying that my pc was free of infections, yet an advertising website called: internet-security-tools has persistently resisted to deletion.

Even worse, it is blocking my attempts to update another program for the purpose (ad-aware 2007) and is slowing down my internet signal.

If this is the wrong thread, I apologize since I am new to the fora.

If not, I am open to sugestions but please take into account that I am not myself an PC expert but an average user.

Thanks in advance,

John Perez

Consider posting in the Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) forum and having someone take a look at your system. If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link to run scans and produce a HijackThis log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) ( http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288).
After you have completed the required scans and produced the requested logs, start your own thread in the Malware Removal (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) forum, making sure to post the HijackThis log produced from the above instructions.
