Hello,
I've been facing a problem with my spybot scans that didn't occur before. Whenever I try running a scan, everything goes well and the scan completes. The detected problems are also fixed automatically ( the green tick appears). But spybot stops responding. Any ideas on how I can fix that? Thanks for your input.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply, had some connection issues lately. Well its version 1.6.2.46. It detects a spyware by right media, pnce it was detected as a cookie and a browser entry, and the following times it was only a browser entry ( so I guess its a bookmark). Hope this helps.

Please be sure that your browser is closed while you are running this fix. Which browser do you use?
Moreover, you can delete Windows, IE or Firefox cache with ATF Cleaner (http://www.atribune.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=25).
What you can try:
Close all other programs
Use ATF Cleaner
Scan with Spybot
Still problems now?

hello again,
I did that, the tracking cookie no longer appears and spybot says not threats. However it's still crashing at the end of the scan. Should I uninstall it and then re-install again ? :)

Will Spybot also crash, if you run it in safe mode (http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml) ?
