Firefox 3.0.10 unprotected after immunization

I read the sticky post about various reasons for incomplete immunization, but I did not understand whether that would help me or not. I am using AVG Free 8.5.339 Antivirus, but the problem is not with IE7. I am not using any of the other programs except Firefox 3. I have both Firefox files "hostperm.1" with 868kb and "permissions.sqlite" with 1087kb.

It took several tries to get everything but Firefox name (default) (Images) immunized, and it still says 567 unprotected after several more tries. What should I do?

My OS is Windows XP MCE 2005 SP3
I have the latest version of Spybot 1.6.2.46
Firefox>Help>About>says version 3.0.10

hostperm.1 is not needed with Firefox 3x as permissions.sqlite serves that function (and maybe a few others). With Firefox closed you can safely delete it from your profiles folders. That may be causing your immunizations problem. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Files
