Troubleshooting Performance Degredation

My sister recently came to me complaining that her system had recently (in the past two months or so) begun behaving oddly; she gave slow game performance (specifically World of Warcraft), stuttering streaming video (Hulu, etc), and occaisonal lockups requiring a hard restart. My first instinct, naturally, was that the system had been compromised by some kind of malware (she runs Windows Live Onecare as her only defensive program - a dubious armor at best, from everything I hear about it). I've installed and run MalwareByte's AntiMalware and Spybot S&D, but I'm worried that I may have missed something. So of course, I've come here to get a second opinion.

I have no idea what was removed, these are the clues to help us discern the crime. Because of the symptoms you mention, likely this is not malware, I would like a look at a free diagnostic report.
Register free and run the test, post a link to the results so I can view them.

Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
