Computer Slow shutdown & After Log-In

I have problem where when I shutdown taken nearly 3 minute and after log-In after boot-up taken nearly 4 minute until Networking icon appear on systray. Below my HijackThis log for your kind analysis:

This is a malware removal forum and your issues appear to be Windows related. I may send you to a free Windows forum but I will see what I can do first since you posted.

You should understand that all running processes must be started (and you have a load of them) they use valuable resources when they run if you use them or not, and they must be shutdown before Windows can be shutdown. Start by reviewing this information:

To give you an idea when you first look at what is enabled in System Configuration Utility (MSConfig) I have four items that are allowed to start up at boot. Three apply to my firewall and antivirus and the other is Windows Live Messenger (that I allow because I use it a lot)

Remember that you can start any program via Start > All Programs should you need it. Apply this information and let me know how the computer is running.

I notice this: 0.99 GB of RAM and it is probably a mistake, would you follow these directions and post the RAM count:
Right click MyComputer then click Properties. On the General tab in the lower right corner is the RAM, post that information.

Ms XP Pro 2002 SP3 <<< I am now on Dell computer, the same year, Operating System, and Service Pack. I am running 1.25 GB's of ram which is over ten times what you have installed. Here is information.
