Whenever I try to run I a spybot scan it automatically restarts my computer within a few seconds (right after finding one or two pieces of spyware).
I am pretty sure this is not a CPU power issue because I have cleaned out my Desktop with compressed air, and it is able to run other incredibly draining programs.
Also, this has not always been an issue. It started a few months ago.
Spybot used to work fine. But I had it set to automatically run tests at 5am and I would always wake to a freshly restarted computer.
I have tried re-installing Spybot, but it did not help.
I can run an immunization without any trouble, just not the scan.
Any suggestions?
Is it possible that a piece of malware is doing this?
Thanks a lot for any responses
