Hi
I found that my antivirus software (McAfee) was missing from the startup.
I tried to upgrade the antivirus software from the console but it wont start.
When i scanned my machine i found thousands of infected files which were cleaned.
The task manager and msconfig were also disabled which i managed to enable.
However, i couldn't still upgrade the antivirus database.
So, i thought of reinstalling the antivirus software.
After uninstalling the software, when i try to run the antivirus installer, nothing happens.
It seems the malware is not allowing any anitvirus software to get installed.
Please help me make my machine virus free without formatting the disk
