Hi keystagegolf,

which operating system do you use?
Which version of Spybot do you use?

Windows XP home. SpybotSD 1.6.0.31 latest detections 17/06/09

There are two users to this computer and a run on the other user's side does not bring up the error problem..!

Thank you for this update. :)

First of all, you should uninstall Spybot over the Add/Remove feature in the control center, then reboot your computer and delete all leavings manually (usually at C:\Program Files\Spybot...\).

After that, download and install the newest version, 1.6.2 from here (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/ownmirrors1/index.html).

Now scan your computer again. Can you fix these problems? If not, start your computer in safe mode (http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml) and try it again.

I'm waiting for your feedback. :thanks:

Hi Matt,

I completed all the steps that you suggested, now have 1.6.2 installed and ran the safe mode check. The result is exactly the same.

As I mentioned before there are two user's with Administrator rights and the problem only occurs on one side.
Could that side have a virus or spyware?
