Hey Guys,
I recently had a problem with my PC - everything was sluggish and plagued with spyware/viruses so i decided to reformat just the drive where Windows was located. I installed an antivirus and a range of adaware removal tools however am still encountering problems.
Firstly windows messenger will not download/install from getlive.com.
Secondly I am having problems with windows automatic updates - they will not update.
Finally, nod32 fails to update.
I seem to have removed all viruses, adware etc with spybot, ad-aware, superantispyware yet still am encountering problems.

Any help would be much appreciated.
If this helps - I am running windows xp with service pack 3 installed.
