Help for Windowposition in Vista Ultimate?:

revealed

New member
Hello there!

I am new here. I searched some minutes for a thread solving my question. But i couldnt find one. Please help me!

I was using a Bigdesktop Setup in Windows Vista Ultimate 32 recently. (Two Screens). Now i upgraded. I threw the CRT screens into trash and bought me one new big TFT.

Now i got the problem, that Spybot S&D is loading on another screen? But i cant reconnect the old ones to fix the Window position.

Please help me out! The program is on the wrong Viewport and i cant find a way to move it back.

Even not with a shift keypress, as the right click menu doesnt existe (Move window).

Is there any hack to get around this? I want S&D to be on the proper viewport again!

Many thanks for any help!

Greetings,

R

Hello,

Spybot stores the position of your window when you close it.
Therefore you can't see it anymore.

To solve the problem:
Please delete the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Safer Networking Limited\SpybotSnD\UI\Forms\formMain
Then the window will be started in the middle.

With "Alt"+"Space" you can open the window menu.
If you enter "m" you can move the window with the file tabs.

This has also been discussed in our forum: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=45351

Hello!

So many thanks for that trick:
With "Alt"+"Space" you can open the window menu.
If you enter "m" you can move the window with the file tabs.
I did not have to use the registry :)

Many thanks! My Day is saved :)

Is there a special reason, that the "Move" part is not shown in the taskbar rightclick under Vista?

Greetings,

R
