G'day All,
Thank you for this forum, an excellent resource.
A TeaTimer reg change dialog has popped up on my sons PC with the following details:
Catagory; ActiveX Distribution Unit
Change; Value deleted
Entry; {CAFEEFAC-0014-0002-0005-ABCDEFEDCB
Old Data; [blank]
New Data; [blank]

BUT! the deny button is disabled, does anyone know why this has happened?

I have left the PC running with the dialog active till I find out more.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Hello build, I believe you are speaking of the GUI bug in Spybot-S&D version 1.4. which will be fixed with the next program upgrade.

Here is a temporary solution.

Hope that helps. :)

G'day Tashi,
"Wow is he the *real* Tashi?" to quote my youngest ;-)

Thank you for your reply.
This seems to be a different problem.
This is the TeaTimer dialog:

Is that any clearer?

This can happen if a registry key and not just a registry value has been removed. TeaTimer does only store data for values, not for keys (due to size), so it can only restore values, not keys. Storing keys could be implemented, as well, but this would mean additional data to be processed.

P.S.: You are using Spybot-S&D 1.3 - I recommend to download and install the latest version 1.4.

Though in 1.4 you will need the fix tashi proposed.
