Hello,

My computer was recently repaired from a really bad malware infection. I am told combofix was used. I will include the log files from both combofix and hijackthis. It seems the computer is still operating at full speed. Any advice would be greatly appreicated. Thanks. Joe.

end of jacklog.

My computer is still slow. Sorry about that. I apparently had the wmv3.exe trojan. My friend advised to not do any internet banking on this computer! Can anyone please advise me if the logos indicate the problem is gone? It seems like the computer takes a bit longer to boot, with a blank screen during the bootup process. Thanks.

Welcome to Safer Networking, I wish to be sure you have viewed and understand this information.
"BEFORE you POST" (READ this Procedure before Requesting Assistance) http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

You must have read and followed the "Before you Post" instructions.

Please wait to be advised and Do NOT run 'FIXES' before helpers have analyzed the HJT log

Not sure if I can help or not, first some information for you.

Since you have posted an out of date HJT log, appears you missed the "Before you Post" directions. They are posted at the top of this forum and I placed a link above.

Since you had someone run tools and I have no way of knowing what they removed. Because some backdoor trojans and rootkits are hidden so well that we can never be 100% sure, you might want to also read this information carefully.

How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud?
http://www.dslreports.com/faq/10451
When Should I Format, How Should I Reinstall

If you wish to proceed beyond this point, read and follow the directions, then post the correct HJT log described in those directions.

Please tell me exactly what your symptoms are, post any error messages you receive word for word.

Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
