Spybot never finishes

I think I have Zlob.downloader and can't remove it. I have run Erunt and HiJackthis. Here is the log file.
I am looking for help in removing spyware.

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

You must have read and followed the "Before you Post" instructions.

Make sure you read those directions, TeaTimer is running and the directions plainly state it must be disabled.

I see Symantec running as well as AVG? Any reason for both antivirus programs running?

Some malware can be hard to remove, so do not expect fast or easy. If you wish to proceed, we will start like this.

1) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TT disabled until we finish)

2) Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

I have turned off tea timer. Sorry
I had tried to uninstall symantic before loading avg. I have now downloaded and run norton removal tool.
I ran the malwarebytes software. It took three tries due to computer hanging but the third try was succesfull.
The reason I think I have Zlob.downloaded is because when I run spybot search and destroy it tells me I have it
but the computers hangs requiring a hard reboot when it tries to remove it.

Uninstall list: I look for malware and security issues and will not know all of your programs, but you should.
Hackers are using out of date programs to infect folks more and more,

The reason I think I have Zlob.downloaded is because when I run spybot search and destroy it tells me I have it
but the computers hangs requiring a hard reboot when it tries to remove it.
Before we run any other tools, please be sure Spybot is up to date and fully immunized, then follow these directions:

Run a scan, fix any problems then:
on the toolbar menu select mode and switch to advanced, on the left select tools, view report, make sure all the options are selected near the bottom except:
Uncheck[ ] do not report disabled or known legitimate Items,
uncheck[ ] Include a list of services in report.
Uncheck[ ] Include uninstall list in report.
Now select near top-- view report, Press export, and save the log on your Desktop, post the saved log in your next reply.

I tried to change what programs run at start up. When it restarted it gave me a message saying I wasn't in normal mode and to swich to normal mode and undo the changes I made. It has checked all the settings I un checked. maybe I did something wrong?

Yes you did, when you get the prompt, tell it no. I can't find a screenshot of the message, you want to tell the prompt that you want the changes you have made and not to tell you about it again. There are a few items that are put back on reboot and need to be stopped from within the program. I personally have four items checked and three are security programs.

I would like at look at the results of a scan by your antivirus program.

* Right click the icon for AVG in System Tray and choose Open AVG User Interface.

* Click on Update now, allow AVG to download and install any new updates.

* Click on Computer Scanner then choose "Scan whole computer", this takes a round one hour on the computer I am using now.

* Near the bottom above the words "The scan is complete" choose "Export overview to file"

* Choose Desktop and give it a name you will recognize like AVG Scan Results, then choose SAVE.

* Close results and close the Interface.

* Copy and paste the contents of that file.

How is the computer running now?

I am not seeing malware in the new HJT log, let's continue to see if we can wrap up.

Remove combofix from the computer like this:

Click START then RUN
Now type or copy Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.

Clean the System Restore files like this:

Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Reboot

Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.


Update MBAM and scan to be sure we missed none of the junk, there is no need to post a clean scan result.
(MBAM is yours to keep if you wish, keep it updated and run it once a month or so)
