Problems with .exe files after a little while logged in

[NGS Drone]

Every time I try and open any .exe file (with shortcut OR directly) it gives me this error:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

If I restart the computer, I can access the very files that have the error but after like 2 minutes, they become inaccessible. I've run a HiJackThis! scan and this is what came up:

It appears you dont have an antivirus program ? Getting one would be my fisrt suggestion, do a full system scan preferably while the PC is in safe mode.

I have ZoneAlarm and nothing comes up... but oh well, I'll scan again in safe mode.

BTW, a registry cleaner says something about missing a "cmmgr32.exe"

just so you know.

Zone alarm is a firewall right Not an antivirus program ?
There are several free programs mentioned in our stickies (pinned topics)
Dont install more than one antivirus or firewall programs.
I dont trust Registry cleaners, please do not run it during our troubleshooting.

I think it's an antivirus program... It can scan for them and spyware... Alright, I'll get rid of ZoneAlarm and the Registry Cleaner.

BTW, all Spybot SnD can find is cookies ZoneAlarm can't find anything. And recently, the internet cuts off. But I can still talk on MSN and play online games if they were already up before it goes down.

I did not suggest getting rid of any programs
I suggested installing an antivirus program

Please disable SpybotSD TeaTimer for now
To disable SpybotSD TeaTimer:
Open Spybot and click on Mode and check Advanced Mode
Check yes to next window.
Click on Tools in bottom left hand corner.
Click on Resident icon and Uncheck the box next to Teatimer.

Close SpyBot.
Start Hijackthis and place a check next to these items If there.

Turn Tea timer back on

After using the pc for a full day or two let us know of any problems please.
