Google redirect and Iexplorer in background [Archive]

Hi guys. I have noticed over the last couple days that my google results when searching using the toolbar in firefox are redirected to random search engines. I also have noticed that every now and then, I will get audio playing because internet explorer is running in the background. I have run scan using McAfee, Ad-Aware, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and they have found viruses, but the problems are still occurring.

Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

You must have read and followed the "Before you Post" instructions.

I'll see if I can help, but you have issues besides malware. If you still wish to proceed, we will start like this.

1) You are running two antivirus programs at the same time and this is not a good thing.

Avast4 and McAfee <<< uninstall one of those

2) Review the "Before you Post" instructions, HJT is not located properly and I wish to be sure you missed no other important instruction.

Delete both of those and follow these directions to locate HJT properly:

Download Trend Micro Hijack This™ to your Desktop
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
Doubleclick the HJTInstall.exe to start it.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log. <<< close HJT until I ask for a log.

3) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

4) Please download GooredFix and save it to your Desktop. Double-click
Goored.exe to run it. Select 1. Find Goored (no fix) by typing 1 and
pressing Enter. A log will open, please post the contents of that log in your
next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called Goored.txt). Note: Do
not run Option #2 yet.

5) Post also a new HijackThis once the above instructions have been followed.
