Personal Antispyware, browser redirects, "Critical Error" message, etc.

IE and Firefox are having Google redirect issues, "Personal Antispyware" was somehow installed and is slowing down the computer, amongst other smaller issues.

Spybot Search and Destroy and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware were both run before posting. Sorry, it was run before I had decided to post.

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

You must have read and followed the "Before you Post" instructions.

You have problems and they are not all being caused by malware. Seems you saw the directions, you need to read them again carefully. I can not promise fast or easy, only that if you will follow the directions I will do all I can to help. If this works for you, we will start like this.

2) copy/paste all logs, do not quote or code them.

3) You are running two antivirus programs at the same time and this is not a good thing.

McAfee and AVG8 <<< decide which you want to run and uninstall the other program before you post another HJT log.

4) PAV is almost always removed by MBAM. Open MBAM, look for logs at the top and doubleclick the one you ran, post that information.

5) Update MBAM to at least Version 1.39 (Database 2518 7/28/2009) then Perform a full scan follow these directions. No need to download if you still have the program.
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file & a new HJT log in your next reply.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts. Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

6) Post also an uninstall list: Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

7) Please post any ""Critical Error" messages you receive word for word.
