Hi all,

I'm new so please be gentle.

Each time I log-in to my Paypal account, I'm asked to update my personal details (incl bank details). I noticed that it was connecting to another site (80.76.181.49) which looks like the PP site, so didn't complete the form.

Spoke with PP & they say that it's a scam. My ISP can't sort it.

It's only the Paypal site that's affected.

I've tried AOL, IE8 & Firefox but I'm always redirected to the same page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm tearing my hair out.

When PayPal contacted you did they offer any advice other than to say, "it is a scam"?

Please see this forum's FAQ, "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Then start a new topic providing the HJT log, and I will close this one.

Best regards.

Hi,

Thnks. No Paypal just suggested I contact my ISP, after 4 hours of phone calls, they said they'd 'look into it' & call me back. That was 3 days ago.

I'll open another thread with a HJT.

Thanks again.
