Hi Guys

When ever I click a google link, a new window pops up with something random. Trend Micro says nothing is wrong. And for some reason, I can not use Trend Micro Housecall, install AVG or any other antispyware. Furthermore online scanners dont work either!!

I have a lot of stuff on this laptop and would appreciate any help. Thanks.

So i ran hijackthis again:
And i got another process that i killed before
C:\Windows\temp\61432959.tmp

So I opened up the location of these files and noticed that there are 3 such numbered files there, all which have a creation date that correllates to the time when i first started having problems. I don't know if this is relevant or not, but thought it might help.

Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER (http://www.gmer.net) here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:
Double-click .exe that you downloaded
Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
Don't check
Show All
box while scanning in progress!
When scanning is ready, click Copy.
This copies log to clipboard
Post log in your reply.
