The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Fraud.FastAntivirus2009" manually.

Fraud.FastAntivirus2009 claims to be an antispyware tool. When it is installed to the computer it finds a lot of harmless entries in order to frighten the user and makes him buy a license to get the issue fixed.
Removal Instructions:
Autorun:
Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.
Entries named "Fast Antivirus 2009" and pointing to "?<$COMMONAPPDATA>\*\FastAV.exe*".
Files:
Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
The file at "<$APPDATA>\Fast Antivirus 2009\Instructions.ini".
The file at "<$APPDATA>\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Fast Antivirus 2009.lnk".
The file at "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\SysFld\fastav.cfg".
The file at "<$DESKTOP>\Fast Antivirus 2009.lnk".
The file at "<$PROGRAMS>\Fast Antivirus 2009.lnk".
The file at "<$STARTMENU>\Fast Antivirus 2009.lnk".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.FastAntivirus2009 uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
