spybot wont start

hello. I need a quick help. I have been using a not so old version of spybot
and am happy with it. on a new system, i successfully installed and run it earlier, but unistalled it. after running ad aware and trend micro's anti spyware, i installed spybot again. this time it does not start. it will flicker, but the program won't start. Please help!

Which version of Spybot do you run on that machine?
Do you get any error message as it does not run?
