• Welcome Guest, to the Spybot Forums! It's 2025, and we just upgraded our forum software.

Today is Safer Internet Day, and with our new forum, you can finally use passkeys to login. That was about time!

Of course, you could ask if a forum is still useful, with so many social media networks out there where you might already have an account, and met a lot of users. You can now use your login from some of those networks to log in here. And by posting here, your question and data is stored on our servers and not automatically shared with a whole social media network.

We'll also start using the forum for small bits of information, announcements and more again.

Firefox 3.5

Hello,

There seems to be a problem with immunizing FireFox 3.5. After FireFox has been opened new, the immunization is gone.

We are aware of this issue and have it already in our bugtracker.

For now you use this workaround:

1. Open Firefox 3.5, go to Tools | Options | Privacy | Settings.
There uncheck the checkbox for "Site Preferences".

2. Open Firefox 3.5, go to Tools | Clear Recent History... OR press Ctrl+Shift+Del.
There uncheck the checkbox for "Site Preferences".

For more informations please have a look at this link in our forum.

Best regards

not sure if this is a Firefox problem or operator error...

Hi there,

I ran Spybot last night and when I started up my computer this morning, I can no longer click any links or enter information by keyboard. I can only open Firefox by right-clicking and selecting "open."

When I try to click a link inside the browser, it automatically launches the Save As window, as though I'm trying to save the link as a Firefox Document. If I try to enter information into a field using my keyboard, it automatically opens one of the drop-down menus from the menu bar.

I recovered everything through Spybot, restarted the computer, but I'm still getting the same problem. I'm using Firefox 3.5.2.

When I open IE, I get a Content Advisor window that tells me it will not allow me to see this website because it has been rated by a rating system that I do not have installed.

God knows what I've done here. Any help is appreciated.
