I have been reading about this one and have gone through remove program and it brings up it's own remover program and doesn't remove. It still shows in the programs through add/remove programs. I have used Malwarebyte remover as suggested in another post and it found 2 files of the Mirar, but it's still there listed in the programs when I go through the control panel but not on the C drive when I do a search. (see attached screen shot)
My Spybot found it at first, but when I tried to remove it, said I'd have to shut down the browser, restart the computer, came up with a scan that never quit, so I finally escaped. Then ran a scan and Spybot didn't find anything. I now noticed my Windows Defender will not open, comes up with an error.
What do I do at this point? I have Vista 32 bit and Spybot 1.6.2.46
