The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Fraud.AntiSpywarePro2009" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Fraud.AntiSpywarePro2009 claims to be an antispyware tool. When it is installed to the computer it finds a lot of harmless entries in order to frighten the user to make him buy a license to get the issue fixed.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "AntiSpyware Pro" and pointing to "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\AntiSpyware Pro.exe*".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$APPDATA>\AntiSpyware Pro\conf.xml".
The file at "<$APPDATA>\AntiSpyware Pro\Sites.black".
The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\AntiSpyware Pro\Register AntiSpyware Pro.lnk".
The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\AntiSpyware Pro\Start AntiSpyware Pro.lnk".
The file at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\AntiSpyware Pro\Uninstall AntiSpyware Pro.lnk".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\AntiSpyware Pro.db".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\AntiSpyware Pro.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\AntiSpywarePro.pkg".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\ASProSB.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\ASpyProPUBlk.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\BlankActiveX.ocx".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro\prg.info".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Fraud.AntiSpywarePro2009 uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Folders:

The directory at "<$APPDATA>\AntiSpyware Pro\logs".
The directory at "<$APPDATA>\AntiSpyware Pro".
The directory at "<$COMMONPROGRAMS>\AntiSpyware Pro".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\AntiSpyware Pro".

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{66B643BE-5E94-4569-B93E-CE2636848AC8}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{66B643BE-5E94-4569-B93E-CE2636848AC8}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "AntiSpyware Pro" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "AntiSpyware Pro" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
If Fraud.AntiSpywarePro2009 uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
