So recently I installed Spybot on my desktop (running XP) and on my new laptop (running Vista) and have run into a peculiar issue.
On my desktop, when I go to Immunize, listed are IE (32 bit), IE (32/64 bit), Windows, and also Firefox (which was first in the list).
On my laptop, however, Firefox is not listed at all, while the others are. Consequently, I am unable to immunize it.
I've done a fair bit of searching on this topic but have not been able to find anything helpful. I attempted removing permissions.sqlite as suggested in a sticky (since I have both permissions.sqlite and hostperm.1), but nothing changed. I believe that solution is for FF2 users, so.
I am running the most up-to-date versions of Vista, S&D (1.6.2), and Firefox (3.5.2).
I would wager to guess that it's somehow Vista causing the problem, since it works just fine on my XP desktop with the same S&D and Firefox.
Hope someone is able to help me out. Thanks.
