I'm pretty much just learning about computers so bear with me, but if anyone could help, that would be great!
Somehow, I got a virus on my computer that will not let Mcafee or Spybot run. I've tried all the self help advice. I've tried to rename Spybot to get around it, all with no results.
The only information I can give you atm is that I did notice b.exe in my task manager when I noticed the trouble starting. I removed b.exe from the task manager and it has not returned but I'm still having issues. I had a few programs that would start and then close with an error message.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
just wanted to add that I could not run the hijackthis. I tried, but it came up with an error. saying I don't have permission.
I used my windows disk to try and reinstall but ended up doing a fix because it wouldn't let me reinstall on C. I'm still having problems but at least I was able to create a HJT log and run spybot. I'm still having trouble. I can't get mcAfee to reinstall or be used. I also have very lLogfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2
