I am looking to remove the softforyou keylogger.

you know what it is, how did it get on your computer? have you seen this:

"In order to keep the Free Keylogger invisible it neither creates a program group in the Start Programs menu nor shows an icon in the tray menu near the clock. The only way to access the Free Keylogger Control Panel is to start any program, for example the Notepad or Calc and type the magic word. By default the magic word is frklg. We recommend you to change the magic word as soon as possible after installing Free Keylogger on your computer. The magic word is case sensitive. "

Hi,

Yes I know what it is, I did install it myself(so it is not really a security threat).
My problem is that I changed my "magic word" and now it will not open.
Not sure what the problem is. Pretty positive my keystrokes are correct for my new magic word.
I would just like to remove it because it is writing a log and I can't delete it.

hi Jumboto,

lets try hjt first. do a search on your computer for these, or check the windows\system32 dir, click on view>details.

sfklg.dll
sfklgcp.exe

once you find them, close all windows and start hjt, click on the "open misc tools section" "then delete a file on reboot"

when the window opens browse for the sfklg.dll file again, click on it, select open, will be prompted to reboot, select yes.

after computer reboots go back to system32 dir and delete the remaining sfklgcp.exe should be able to right click on it and select delete.
