Hi
A scan today with Spybot found win32.zbot - the only problem was that Spybot could not remove it, despite recommending a restart and carrying out a fresh scan when I restarted. It seemed to have a problem with a registry entry for sdra64.exe and could not get rid of it. So I followed the instructions given here (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=47049) for deleting the registry entry.
However, now my PC will not let me log in with my user name and password (i'm currently having to use one of my old PCs to make this post) - when I log in it briefly loads the desktop wallpaper then says 'logging off' and kicks me back to the login screen.
Would it be possible to fix this problem by slaving the drive that has this problem to another and fixing the registry? Or by some other way?
Any help much appreciated!
