Slow startup of IE 8. KB969897 already installed.

Hi,

I have recently installed Spybot. It has considerably slowed startup of IE 8.

Also I downloaded KB969897, but while installing I got setup error, "the version of internet explorer that you have installed does not match with the update that you are trying to install update again"

So I checked in Add/Remove programs and saw that KB969897 is already installed.

This is driving me crazy ...

Any suggestions??
